Meet the Writer

Melissa Moralez is a Tejana writer + medium based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, known for her bold and unapologetic approach to writing. There are no boundaries to her processes, style, or work, as she enjoys writing in all forms. Conversations with Assholes was created to send a big fuck you to all the academic pressure surrounding writers and the false idea that adhering to strict structure and rules is necessary to publish work. Her pieces are written and posted for consumption in a matter of hours with little to no editing. The series serves as a rebellious platform, delivering unfiltered reflections on her experience being a modern “American” woman. One of Melissa’s notable contributions is her essay titled “My Famous Abortion,” featured in King Shot Press’s Nasty Vol. 2.

Beyond her work as a writer, Melissa is deeply committed to helping others through her gift of channeling and mediumship. In this practice, she taps into support systems both on and off Earth, integrating her writing process to deliver messages from other realms, dimensions, and beings.
